I never said you were slow on a course, just that you may not sling it around as much. It doesn't smoke all the time either but when it does it will scare you. Sure as hell did me. BTW: In my very first auto-x race I placed 1st out of 16 and the 2nd race I was 3rd out of 23. :-) It has smoke in every auto-x race I have been to - replaced PCV valves and hoses, then put a different kind of engine in too (NA->TT). The bitch still smokes. Hopefully not any more. :) : I'd smoke you on a race track. : keep in mind, i have instructed for PCA / Zclub / AlphaRomeo Club / etc...
: I run in the racecar/instructor groups at DE's. : I placed 7th out of 176 cars overall at my very first autocross. : I kick ass. And have witnesses to everything I stated above. With this new information, I can assure you that you will find it reasonable that I do not have a burning oil issue due to PCV ventilation. These facts are stated as true, well reasoned, and accurate. : : do it. If it doesn't I'd be leery about the PCV's not working properly. But, you say you are up on your PCV's so that probably isn't the case. You just aren't driving it hard enough I guess.
: : : stock motor. stock turbos. 150k miles.
